Scheduled Crawls & Monitoring

Technical SEO isn't a one-time project—it’s a habit. 42crawl allows you to put your site health on autopilot with Scheduled Crawls. By running recurring audits and receiving instant notifications, you can catch critical errors before they impact your traffic.

Why You Should Automate Your SEO

The web is dynamic. Every time you update a plugin, edit a page, or tweak your server, there's a risk of a "silent regression."

Scheduled crawls help you:

  • Kill Silent Regressions: Find out the moment a developer accidentally adds a noindex tag or breaks a redirect.
  • Track Trends: Watch your Health Score improve over months of optimization.
  • Save Hours: Stop manually clicking "Start" every Monday morning. Let the bot do the watching while you do the building.
  • Proactive Alerting: Get an email the second a crawl finishes, highlighting exactly what needs your attention.

How Scheduled Crawls Work

Our scheduling engine runs in the cloud, meaning it works even when your computer is off. It simulates a manual crawl using your saved settings and User-Agent preferences.

Frequency Options

  • 🕒 Daily: Recommended for high-volume e-commerce and news sites where changes happen hourly.
  • 📅 Weekly: The "Goldilocks" setting for most SaaS businesses and professional blogs.
  • 🗓️ Monthly: Perfect for stable, static sites that only need a periodic pulse check.

Instant Email Notifications

Stay informed without even logging in. Our summary reports include:

  • Your overall Health Score.
  • The number of Critical Issues found.
  • A direct link to the Crawl Comparison report to see what changed.
